Visit
We have saved some pretty special places over the years (almost 23,000 acres and over 40 projects) and you can visit many of them. We encourage you to explore these places and get to know them and appreciate them as much as we do. Check out the Preserves & Properties You Can Visit to find out where to go.
Arroyo Hondo, a property owned and managed by the Land Trust, is open the first and third full weekends of each month, and every Monday and Wednesday for school and community groups. Free nature hikes with one of our knowledgeable docents are held from 10:00 a.m. until noon on the Saturdays and Sundays of the first and third full weekends of the month. Reservations are free but must be made in advance by calling the Preserve Manager John Warner at (805)567-1115 or emailing arroyohondo@sblandtrust.org. To learn more, visit the Arroyo Hondo section of our site.
