When long-time Land Trust members and local winemakers Richard and Thekla Sanford bought the 438-acre Rancho Rinconada, they knew they wanted to donate an easement to preserve the beautiful oak woodland on the land. The resulting Land Trust easement permanently protects the 105 acres of dense oak woodland surrounding their winery and vineyard.
