As a current Land Trust member, when you gift a membership of $50 or more, you’ll both receive the incredible “A Field Guide to Common Plants of the Santa Barbara Foothills and Southern California” by locals and Land Trust supporters Hugh Margerum and David Powdrell. The book features 54 of the most common plants in the area and is arranged by flower color. This 120 page portable paperback is suitable for students, hikers and naturalists of any age. Give a gift membership of $100 or more and you’ll get the Field Guide plus a set of 4 Land Trust blank greeting cards designed by local artists and featuring some of the special places saved by the Land Trust.

Your gift is an investment to restore habitat and manage preserves and open spaces that allow us to connect with nature, embrace our local heritage and grow our food. With support from people like you, the Land Trust has protected nearly 23,000 acres of important coastal and rural lands. For every dollar received, the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County spends ninety-five cents saving land.
