Volunteer Day at the Arroyo Hondo Preserve

December 2, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Bring family and friends and help maintain and restore the beauty of Arroyo Hondo Preserve!

We rely on the generous dedication of our Arroyo Hondo Preserve Volunteers to help keep our preserves open to the public and the ecosystems healthy. Volunteers help with habitat restoration and basic trail maintenance.

Today we will be planting native plants from seeds collected in the canyon at our recently cleared restoration site along the west fence of the lower west meadow, which is a one minute walk from our barn up the gravel road. Additionally we may be doing trail work to repair trails and ready them for winter.

To sign up or for more info, contact Sally Isaacson, Education Coordinator: [email protected]

Wear appropriate work clothes and bring sunscreen and a refillable water bottle. We will provide gloves, water and snacks.
