Volunteer Day at the Arroyo Hondo Preserve

September 16, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Bring family and friends and help maintain and restore the beauty of Arroyo Hondo Preserve!

We rely on the generous dedication of our Arroyo Hondo Preserve Volunteers to help keep our preserves open to the public and the ecosystems healthy. Volunteers help with habitat restoration and basic trail maintenance.

Today we will be weeding last year’s restoration site or we may do some trail work. The last restoration area begins at the bottom of the driveway extending to the first meadow on the west side of the creek.  Next year’s site will be located against the west fence of that meadow.

To sign up or for more info, contact Sally Isaacson, Education Coordinator: [email protected]

Wear appropriate work clothes and bring sunscreen and a refillable water bottle. We will provide gloves, water and snacks.
