NatureTrack Film Festival
March 23 - March 25
The inaugural NatureTrack Film Festival will feature over 25 films curated to “ignite passion for nature through film.”
This 3-day event will excite, energize, and deepen your connection to the outdoors through the power of film. There will also be opportunities to interact intimately with nature through docent-led hikes and delicious dinners focused on particular films and filmmakers.
Festivities will kick-off at 4pm on Friday, March 23 with an opening reception at Mattei’s Tavern prior to screenings that evening. A full slate of films will be offered on Saturday, and the festival will conclude on Sunday, March 25 with a half day of programming, then a closing reception at Fess Parker Wine Country Inn where juried awards will be presented. Films will screen at three venues in Los Olivos: the Santa Ynez Valley Grange, the Gates Foss Community Center at Los Olivos School, and St. Mark’s In-The-Valley Church.
The Land Trust is a Presenting Sponsor for this film event. We have partnered with NatureTrack for many years. Their field trips are free to schools and they visit our Arroyo Hondo Preserve, Coronado Butterfly Preserve, Sedgwick Reserve and Midland School Trails (all Land Trust properties or projects).
